The UT-ZM is one of the safest, easiest to operate manual overides in the industry. Built to perform in tough chemical and industrial settings, the UT-ZM delivers reliable performance while enhancing plant safety.

Durable Construction- The UT-ZM is pretreated with a phosphate solution and finished with a powder epoxy coating on the outer surface of the WCB body. Die cast handwheels and stainless steel declutch levers make the UT-ZM one of the most durable overrides available.
Torque Output - Various models are available with torque outputs from 1,770 to 61,995 in-lbs.
Direct Mount Fit - The UT-ZM provides ISO bolt patterns for an easy direct mount fit. Keyed shaft mountings are not required.
Isolation Safety Option - This optional safety feature provides a built-in block and vent capability that reduces air resistance, making it easy for the operator to switch from manual to automatic control.
Corrosion Resistant - Each override is enclosed in a dust and weatherproof housing that conforms to IP67 standards. All gears are pre-lubricated for added corrosion resistance.
Secure Padlock Option - The addition of the optional Padlock Kit allows for placement of a lock to prevent unintended operation.

Block and Vent Air With The Isolation Safety Option

The UT-ZM equipped with the Isolation Safety Option has 3 ports:

P = Pressurized Air Port
A = Actuator/Solenoid Port
R = Released Air Port

Isolation Safety Option

Standard Manual Override
If the isolation Safety Option is not required the standard manual override is available.

In auto mode, the actuator drives the valve using air entering through the Pressurized Air port and the Actuator/Solenoid port.

To switch to manual mode, the declutch bar is lifted and air is automatically released from the Actuator/Solenoid port and blocked from entering through the Pressurized Air Port. This simple and efficient release of air makes operation of the gear easier and safer.
